Privacy Policy
This policy explains how KeepCDL handles information collected through our prelaunch website.
Information we collect
When you join early access, contact us, or inquire about a referral partnership, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company or business information, DOT number, website, form responses, authority status, compliance interests, and partnership preferences.
We also collect the choices you make about email and text-message consent, the date and version of that consent, and operational information such as lead status, notes, and follow-up history.
Referral, attribution, and website data
We may record referral codes, campaign parameters such as UTM values, the page where a visit began, referring website, page views, and interactions such as form starts, successful submissions, and FAQ opens. A random session identifier helps us understand a visit without requiring an account.
KeepCDL uses a lightweight first-party analytics database and the MailerLite universal script (account 2590466) to support website measurement and future early-access communications. MailerLite may process technical information according to its own privacy practices.
How we use information
We use information to operate the website, maintain the early-access list, respond to inquiries, communicate about launch, contact potential referral partners, understand customer demand, prioritize follow-up, improve KeepCDL, and measure marketing and referral effectiveness.
Email and text-message consent
Email and SMS choices are stored separately. Email permission allows KeepCDL to send early-access and launch updates. SMS permission is optional, is unchecked by default, and is not required to join early access. Text messaging is not currently active. If it is introduced, message frequency may vary, message and data rates may apply, and recipients will be able to reply STOP to opt out.
Service providers and disclosure
We use service providers to host the website and database, measure site activity, manage communications, and deliver lead notifications. Those providers may process information only as needed to provide their services. The current implementation uses Vercel for website hosting, Neon for database services, MailerLite's universal script, and can use Resend for server-side lead notifications when configured.
KeepCDL does not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, during a business transaction, or with your direction.
Retention and security
We retain lead and attribution records for as long as reasonably needed for the prelaunch, follow-up, business-learning, and legal purposes described here. We use practical safeguards including server-side validation, restricted lead access, rate limiting, secure environment variables, and a database that is not exposed directly to the browser. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete your information, or withdraw communication consent, by emailing lance@keepcdl.com. We may need to retain limited information when required for legal, security, or recordkeeping reasons.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as KeepCDL's services and infrastructure develop. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
